Black Stars team doctor, Adam Baba has advised Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan to be circumspect regarding league games.
The medical practitioner cautioned the SIPG striker to listen to his body to ensure he was fully fit before he responds to club duties.
Gyan returned from a hamstring injury a few weeks ago to feature for the Chinese side, but Dr Baba cautioned him to critically examine himself before he hits the turf.
The Doctor told Starr FM that “on a more cautious side. I spoke to him (Gyan) and asked him to be very careful because he has just recovered and the club has been pushing him to play.
“He has assured me that he will come for the game (Comoros) but I told him not to be sure because it’s his body, it’s the same place, the hamstring.”
Gyan, who missed the Ghana-Canada 0-0 international friendly due to injury, is expected to be available for the Stars’ 2018 World Cup qualifier against Comoros this month.
