Reggae musician Rocky Dawuni has been nominated in the ‘Best Reggae Album’ category at the 2016 Grammy Awards for his album, ‘Branches Of The Same Tree’.
He makes history as the first Ghanaian to be nominated at the Grammys.
Dawuni will be competing against Morgan Heritage, Jah Cure, Barrington Levy and Luciano.
Kendrick Lamar leads the nomination with 11 nods, followed by Taylor Swift and The Weekend. The awards scheme will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, United States of America.
